Lots of Updates!!!

Ok, so it's been a good while since I have updated this blog, so I am taking the time to do so while Emma is napping.
So starting with the school updates. Richard is doing so good in the DP Academy. He loves it! Next week they are going to the Navel Air Station to learn how to search a building and driving the police cars. And the best part of next week is that Richard gets to meet Andre from Dallas SWAT. He is soooo hot! I told Richard to get his picture for me :) February will be Richard's "Hell Month". I don't know what all that entails but I do know that he will be getting tasered with the taser gun on Feb 10, Richard is so excited to do that. Hopefully he can get it recorded and I will upload it!
School went really well for me last semester. I have a 3.2 GPA now, which is good, but I will definitely be striving to get get it even higher! I start school again next Wednesday. My schedule includes two math classes, a sociology class, and a psychology class. I think Iam really going to love this semester!
Now onto updates about Emma. She is one week away from being 11 months old. My mom tells me that everyday, she starts to look more and more like Richard. We also FINALLY got her to start sleeping in her play pin at night. She wants absolutely nothing to do with her crib, she cries anytime I even attempt to put her in it. She finally got her two bottom teeth in back when she was around 7 months old, but have had no more teeth cutting in since then. As of her 9 month check up she was 18lbs 10oz, and I think 28 inches long. Which puts her in the 50% for her weight and still in the 96% for her height. And the biggest news about her is that she has now started walking! I can't believe that my baby will be turning 1 in 5 weeks. I know everyone says that babies grow up so fast, but it still shocks me that my baby will soon be a toddler!

So my biggest news of all may shock most of those who don't already know. Richard and I are having another baby girl due April 29. We have decided on her name, Sophie Renee Ruiz. The pregnancy is going great now. And I say now because for the first 4 1/2 months, my morning sickness was so bad, that I had to take medicine everyday to be able to keep food down. She kicks and moves around all day! We are excited, but not sure how Emma will take the new baby, especially knowing that Emma has to have all the attention, all the time :) Just like her mommy!
